Our Cuisine

"The heart of the house is the kitchen."

A place where pots and pans are always alive, offering smells and tastes of local and international dishes from the many different places of the world we lived at or travelled throughout our lives.

Most of our ingredients are home grown and organic. If we do not produce them, we try to purchase them in small markets or at family farms around our area. We grow a large variety of vegetables and herbs, which will make your taste buds rock in your mouths.
We love preparing fresh bread in our stone oven, cook meat in the outdoor BBQ, or cook in the iron wooden stove in the kitchen.

Uruguayan

Uruguayan cuisine is a fusion of several European countries with particular emphasis on Mediterranean food from Italy, Spain, Portugal and France. Though due to the abundant beef and mutton production, you can expect some truly heavenly barbecued cuts on the special 'parrilla' grill.

Asian

Sometimes our menu consists of Asian dishes. Indian, Thai or Vietnamese house favourites from Magdalena's cooking experiences overseas. Depending on the season, herbs grown at the farm, will allow us to taste some traditional homemade dishes from these countries.
